Talk About Some Heavy Rain.!

*The Aftermath, just one side of the scene, you should see the other side lol.*
-So what started out as a GREAT day..Great traditional Mexican breakfast, Mall Shopping, eating hot-pockets at my aunts house, BEASTING on Call Of Duty...then with a little rain coming in, which rarely happens in my part of Arizona, I felt great so I took a well needed nap..ONLY too wake up to what turned out to be not so little rain and near natural disaster,,Nearly drowning our dog, literaly DESTORYING my dad's driveway lol, knocking down fences and brickswalls, messing-up cars, taking garbage cans, and a balls load of pot holes in our road....As if our street didn't look ghetto enough already, now it looks like a damn third-world country.!!
*I guess this is what we get for bitching about some rain so much lol...kind of reminds me of that Ice Cube video (aka my fav. song of all time), where its all good for the whole day, then bullshit hits the night...but, I guess I'm happy that nobody I know got hurt..GRACIAS A DIOS.

Freestyle Friday Saturday..Again.? : 2pac & Biggie

-Two greats freestyling..EPIC.
*OKAY this time it's not my fault, damn STORM caused some technical difficulties for a while lol.

Take It Back Tuesday: In Bloom

-This is a really dope track off of one of my Fav. albums, Nirvana's 1991 sophomore album, Nevermind. I still listen to Smells Like Teen Spirit from time to time...R.I.P. Kurt Cobain, who in my opinion was one the greatest songwriters ever.

Mac Miller - Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza

-Pretty DOPE song/video off up-and-coming rapper Mac Miller off his new Mixtape, KIDS which drops August 13, the video is Directed by Ian Wolfson...The Funny thing is Frozen Pizza was actually the name of my blog before I changed it lol.
*Mac Miller - Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza

I CAN CHANGE by See Green

From LCD Soundsystem's chart topper album This Is Happening (2010), check out Courtenay Green and her band SEE GREEN- as they take a great interpretation of the song called I Can Change.

The song is up for free download here.

Just Because: Bad Boyz

-One of my Fav. songs from Shyne's 2000 self-titled debut, featuring another Reggae legend, Barrington Levy...This should help cleanse the madness of the other song...but unlike the other song, this one is DOPE.
*This is what Shyne needs to get back too.
*Hit the jump for the video
*Shyne - Bad Boyz (Feat. Barrington Levy)

Shyne - Belize (Feat. The Notorious B.I.G. & Bob Marley)

-New Single off Shyne's up-coming album since his release from prison, Guess Who, featuring posthumous appearances from former Bad Boy label mate The Notorious B.I.G. and Bob Marley...Two legends on the same track, sounds dope right.? Well, not exactly..the song samples Marley's Sun is Shining...while the hook sample's P. Diddy's Young G's (Feat. The Notorious B.I.G. & Jay-Z) with Biggie repeating the line "I Be Smoking Trees In Belize When They Find Me"..
..Overall it is somewhat of a decent track, the mixing could be way better, and perhaps switching back to the old flow would be nice, but I give him credit for trying to do something creative..his self-titled debut is still one of my Fav. albums,..but this is unexplainable.
*I miss the old flow, but I guess this will have to do.
*Hit the Jump for the video promo.
*Shyne - Belize

Video: The Roots - The Fire (Feat. John Legend)

-Great video of my Fav. track off the new Roots album How I Got Over, which is one of the best if not the best Hip-Hop release thus far in 2010. The video is directed by one of the best up-and-coming directors out right now, Rik Cordero has made some of the DOPEST videos that I've seen in a long time.
*You get a great director like Cordero & a budget and this is what you get back..EPIC.

FAITHFULLY by Jovit Baldivino

Out na pala sa market ang debut album ng first ever PGT Grand Champion winner na si JOVIT BALDIVINO na may pamagat na "FAITHFULLY" (under Star Records). As expected, kasama sa track list ang ilan sa mga kinanta nya during the competition gaya ng "Too much love will kill you" (by Queen) at eto ngang klasikong kanta ng The Journey.

Tsek nyo!

Fighting Pride of the Philippines vs Tijuana's Tornado

-Turns out that the Long-awaited superfight between (currently both of my Fav. boxers of the moment) Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. gets the plug pulled as the Pac-Man will now take on Mexico's own Antonio Margarito...The Fight is set to take place in in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena if Margarito get an approved license & if not then the fight will head south for Monterrey, Mexico...Mayweather deserves this fight more than anybody after literaly destroying Shane Mosley.
*Hit the jump also for screen shots of the new Fight Night: Champions...Fight Night Round 4 is still the shit!! Speaking of SHIT, I wanted to see Pacquiao have a REAL match...not saying Margarito cant fight but that last couple fights made me doubt him a lot more.

*I dont know about you but this game looks DOPE as fuck...nice touch on the damage.

Freestyle Friday Saturday: Eminem Vs Juice Scribble Jam 97

-Damn can't I be on time with this post ever?? Anyways this is an old freestyle Between Eminem & Juice at the Scribble Jam 1997..One of the Best Freestyle Battles EVER in my opinion..Sorry again for bad quality. But still definitely worth it.

FATHER AND SON isang klasikong kanta ni cat stevens na nirecord nya noong 2004 para sa kanyang greatest hits compilation cd

I Found ALISON KRAUSS

If you like country, calm melodic or sophisticated acoustic music, this CD won't disappoint you.

NOW THAT I FOUND YOU: A COLLECTION is a compilation of cover songs and older singles from Grammy award winning bluegrass artist ALISON KRAUSS (along with her band Union Station).
Her soothing voice and beautiful instrumental sound make this one of the best album I own.

If you havent heard Alison Krauss' music before, i recommend that you should check out or buy this album...Nothing but greatness here.

BABY NOW THAT I FOUND YOU (The Foundations) if angels could sing they would probably sound like alison krauss

OH ATLANTA (Bad English) my favorite track on this cd..she really shines on this song

I WILL (The Beatles) only a tremendous talent like krauss could make a Beatles song into a bluegrass masterpiece

WHEN YOU SAY NOTHING AT ALL (Keith Whitley) one of the most beautiful mellow songs ive heard...so touching!

Take It Back Tuesday: Numb

-One off my Fav. tracks from one of my fav. Bands off their 1994 debut, Dummy, Portishead is one of the DOPEST bands EVER..with their dope instrumentals and Beth Gibbons soulful yet commanding voice that just takes over the track,,all which makes them the U.K. band hands down, kings..& queen of Trip-Hop.

Album Review: Pilot Talk

-Well I know that I have been bugging about this album a lot lately, but since its been a week since its release I figured that i'd review the album for everybody. I swear THIS dudes album is starting to become the soundtrack of my summer, its been on heavy rotation in my Zune lately...Just like this track the whole album is AUDIO DOPE.!!
*Hit the Jump for the REVIEW.
* Curren$y - Audio Dope II [Prod. Ski Beatz]

-As you can see I had to special order my copy of the net, I've been a fan of Curren$y for a couple of years now since he started with Lil Wayne, and has never seized to impress me, he has been very consistant over the years dropping new FREE music for his fans and others to appreciate....Most of the tracks on the album are produced by Ski Beatz [Skee Beats] except for about 3. Curren$y's witty flow along with Ski Beatz soulful production go very well hand-in-hand and create very DOPE tracks everytime they collaborate. The album itself is very chill, playful and great summertime music or when you're in the mood to light up a blunt lol..Its safe to say that this is a stoner album which can get boring at times with repetitive rhymes about weed, girls, cars,, so theres not very much expectation for a great lyrical album, but nonetheless musically its still very DOPE for a major label debut...I rate it a good 4 out of 5.
*Pic props to 2dopeboyz
1. "Example" [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-Great song to start off the album, Spitta wastes no time to get started.
2. "Audio Dope II" [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-One of my Fav. tracks with an incredible harad-knocking beat.
3. "King Kong" [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-Great beat and rhymes that go hand-in-hand very well to create this dope track.."KING KONG AINT GOT SHIT ON ME".
4. "Seat Change" (Feat. Snoop Dogg) [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-Not my fav. track but OK...nice collab with uncle Snoop
5. "Breakfast" [Prod. Mos Def & Ski Beatz]
-Might be my Fav. track off the album, bot hating the new beat at all.
6. "Roasted" (Feat. Trademark Da Skydiver & Young Roddy) [Prod. Monsta Beatz]
-Dope track as Spitta is joined with some of his own crew..good job on the beat by Monsta Beatz.
7. "Skybourne" (Feat. Big K.R.I.T. & Smoke DZA) [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-Straight DOPENESS, great beat, flow, & rhymes are on point.
8. "The Hangover" (Feat. Mikey Rocks) [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-Side effects of a stoner album/ safe to say the worst track but OK i guess to party too.
9. "The Day" (Feat. Jay Electronica & Mos Def) [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-Three DOPE MC's and a first hand glimpse of Center Edge Territory, the Supergroup formed by the three...oh and the beat is nice also.
10. "Prioritize (Beeper Bill)" (Feat. Nesby Phips) [Prod. Nesby Phips]
-VERY DOPE track as Curren$y is on point and great job by Nesby Phips on the beat and rhymes.
11. "Chilled Coughphee" (Feat. Devin the Dude) [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-An alright track feat. one of my fav. artists of all time & a phunky beat,, pretty dope.
12. "Address" (Feat. Stalley) [Prod. Ski Beatz]
-Possibly the best track off the album, both artists are on point with a great soulful instrumental from Ski Beatz.
13. "Life Under The Scope"  [Prod. Ski Beatz & Michael Sterling Eaton]
-Great track to end the album, beat, rhymes, are on point as usual,, DOPE.

*Overall the album is pretty dope, definitely something worth the listen as Curren$y has been very consistant over the years dropping various mixtapes and 2 independent album which where all mostly of FREE,, which in return people should go cop his new album out now.

*BONUS:

Curren$y - King Kong from Creative Control on Vimeo.
*DOPE video for track 3 off the album.

USE SOMEBODY by Craig David

I love the original version of USE SOMEBODY (performed by the rock band, Kings of Leon), but was also delighted with this awesome cover rendition by British rnb pop singer CRAIG DAVID. He recently performed this acoustically for The Sun's Bizaare Sessions as promotion for his latest album, Signed Sealed Delivered.

Watch the clip and it'll remind you why Craig is one of the best rnb male recording artist out there!
