German trio THE BASEBALLS released a cover of the song 'HELLO', originally sang by Martin Solveig and Dragonette. This is the first single from their latest album STRINGS N' STRIPES.


The guys also performed live song covers of Rihanna's Umbrella and Lady Gaga's Born This Way. As usual, they put their own Rock and Roll touch to the songs!


I love how they take what was a supremely annoying song and make it into something you can listen to. Brilliant!



Everything they touch is pure perfection! =O

Australian classical group ASTON is taking the world by storm with their impressive covers. Songs like BORN THIS WAY are not originally arranged for many instruments especially not for that many strings. LOVE LOVE LISSIE!

Got a new favorite rock chick to date in the person of LISSIE (born Elisabeth Maurus, 1982 in Rock Island, Illinois). I've been following her for a few months now after discovering her fantastic song covers from Bob Dylan, Lady Gaga, Kid Cudi among others. Since releasing her debut EP "Why You Runnin" last year and her first full length debut album "Catching A Tiger" last June, Lissie has been on the elevator up to stardom...She won the acclaim of new fans everywhere after performing shows with Lenny Kravitz, Joshua Radin and at the SXSW festival.


Lissie really is one hell of a talented artist, and there is no reason not to be acquianted with her by now.

EH EH (Lady Gaga cover)

What's this song EH, EH (Nothing else I can say) all about? According to Lady Gaga, the song is about breaking up with an old flame and finding someone new. It was released as the third single from her smash hit album THE FAME, the song received mostly negative reviews from critics for being "dry and lifeless".

Personally I don't like the studio version but if you try to check her acoustic piano rendition here then you can say that the song is a gem.

IMAGINE by LADY GAGA

Gay icon LADY GAGA performs John Lennon's classic IMAGINE at the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Washington DC after an introduction by no other than the newly Nobel Peace Prize winner and President of USA Barack Obama!

The Songtress left her usual panty-less and bootylicious costumes at home, opting for a demure black dress topped with a pair of John Lennon's inspired sunglasses. She changed the lyrics to reflect the tragedy of Matthew Shephard, a gay college student who died in 1998 after he was tortured for being gay.

Lady Gaga also joined the rally next day and took part in a street demonstration outside the White House.

Lady Gaga: Manggagaya?

Lady Gaga is famous for two things: her chart topping dance songs and her wacky fashion sense. She was even labeled by fashionista's around the world as a style icon and innovator in the fashion world.

But Irish singer ROISIN MURPHY called Lady Gaga a fraud, and says she stole her look. "She copied my style. I met her about a year ago before she got really big and I had no clue that this was all going to happen." Murphy said.

She was just furious that the American songstress claims that all those oversized hats, thigh high boots, sexy skimpy dress are all part of her original sytle. "She was just a poor imitation of me!".
But later on Murphy issued a statement insisting that she was just misquoted, that some press made a fabricated context on her comments and has really no plan to involve herself into a feud with Lady Gaga.
