MAROON 5 COVERS

HANDS ALL OVER is the third studio album by one of my favorite pop rock band MAROON 5. In its international deluxe edition, the album has five bonus tracks which includes two great covers that you can stream below:

IF I AINT GOT YOU (Alicia Keys) never thought a man could pull this song off, adam levine is so good!!!



CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE (Queen) surprisingly well done cover.



Pasingit: Not included on the album, but the band's take on The Beatles' IF I FELL is actually really good...exquisite vocal treatment of a gorgeous song!

OH MY GABE!....

Before Charice Pempengco and Joseph Vincent hit the spot in the music scene, theirs this guy named GABE BONDOC that is equally talented like them and has a huge following in Youtube.

Bondoc is a full blooded Filipino singer- songwriter from San Mateo, California. He is known for his clever yet simple lyrics, catchy melodies, soothing voice and amazing guitar skills. He composes his own original songs as long as wonderful covers of a lot of music that is popular today.

If you love listening to slow jams ala John Mayer or just some relaxing music like Jason Mraz then you should also listen to him.

Currently, I am totally being moved by some of his cover songs. The great thing on him is that even the most up-beat songs or the ones that are considered a head-bangin' tune, when he covered it, become very soft and like melodic to the ear.

THE WAY U LOOK TONIGHT

You probably heard about the movie Valentine's Day, one of the most star-studded film shown in the movie theaters this year. Just like the movie, the soundtrack has also a good line-up of musicians like Jewel, Taylor Swift, Willie Nielson and Amy Winehouse all appear on it. But my favorite track in the album comes from the band Maroon 5 as they take their own twist of Frank Sinatra's The Way You Look Tonight.

SUSAN BOYLE takes a Rolling Stone Classic

Look who's creating a big buzz in music tinseltown- its Susan Boyle!...

Eversince she appeared in Britain's Got Talent earlier this year, Boyle has become one of the world's most celebrated regular people and inspired many by pursuing her dream of becoming a professional in the entertainment field that mostly rewards the young and the beautiful.
And just recently, she sang the Rolling Stones hit, "Wild Horses" (the first single from her upcoming album, I DREAMED A DREAM out this November) on the US TV show, America's Got Talent. I managed to watch her performance in YouTube and WOW- she was totally amazing! Not only did Susan looks fantastic, her singing and charisma was so moving. She held that crowd in the palm of her hand like few other performers I have seen and heard. I was also impressed that she still looked like herself, and I love the intro as well. It showed the honesty, determination and strength of character she has, as well as a reaching out on a very basic level to anyone who has struggled with life experiences.

Her rise has given the music world an interesting new personality and music lovers a chance to embrace yet another pretty voice...Hope to hear her lovely voice for many many years to come. :D
