The beautiful and talented SARA BAREILLES performs a gorgeous live piano-and-vocal cover of Coldplay's mellow hit "YELLOW" at IHeartRadio. I've seen so many covers of this song, some pretty good and others average. Sara's version is definitely one of the best!Watch the performance below.
*The first official single of Dr. Dre's long-awaited Detox album, which is stated to finally see the light of day in 2011 (or so he says). Featuring none other than his protégé Eminem & a new artist by the name of Skylar Grey. The song was produced by Alex Da Kid, the man behind a couple of last years bangers such as B.o.B. - Airplanes, Eminem - Love The Way You Lie (Feat. Rihanna), and T.I. - Castle Walls (Feat. Christina Aguilera) one of my favorite tracks off his latest album No Mercy... Its great to see that Detox actually exists and is finally getting some shine, hopefully this continues and we finally get this mythical album within our grasp.
*Hit the jump for the artwork; & also the video for Kush, which is the street single for Detox.
*Dr. Dre - I Need A Doctor (Feat.Eminem & Skylar Grey) [Prod. Alex Da Kid]
*Features his long time Partner-In-Rhyme, Snoop Dogg & Akon (and also Kobe & Sly Pyper who were not credited). The last time these three collaborated was on Snoop's "Boss Life" off The Blue Carpet Treatment.
*Some more fan art that I decided to make for my buddy Nathan... Inspired by the hilarious acting scenes we were doing during our spare time in Journalism (the reason why our paper never meets deadline haha).
*Another fan art for another acting scene that we did in Journalism. This time starring myself as a Retarded Cholo! Definitely not as good as my buddy Enrique's scene lol...This was my second take, the original was a heck of A LOT better than this with a better story ... A future project is in the works! so I'll keep you guys updated on that haha. For more just visit my friend Nathan's video channel on youtube which you can access here.. Now that you've seen some of the videos,, Which movie would you watch??
*Just a home made short film created by good friend Nathan Davenport.. That I thought was GREAT so I decided to put it up on my blog. Below is some fan art for the video that I created myself.
*So apparently, this gem that Premo had crafted was specifically made for Yeezy (and possibly My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy). But was unfortunantely turned down by Mr. West . The beat also known as the JJ (Jermaine Jackson) Beat was also turned down by southern rapper Bun B... Now this is definitely the type of music that I expected to see onKanye's album, and I think it is a shame that it has been overlooked. But I can definitely see some other artists rocking over this such as: Nas, Jay-Z, Jay Electronica, who doesn't sound good with Premo on the boards haha!
Who do ya'll think would fit this joint perfectely??
*DJ Premier - JJ Beat
BONUS:
*&& Speaking of MBDTF... here goes a song that was also cut from the album. GOOD grief..
*Here comes an incredibly DOPE beat box from Eklips hailing from Paris, France. As he takes us on a journey through the History of Hip-Hop with his incredible beatboxing skills!... Does everything from Suger Hill Gang to Kanye West & Dr. Dre!
*I swear if I posted as much as I played video games (specifically Call of Duty) then I would have like a thousand posts haha... Just kidding, nowadays I wish I had more time for both. What about Life!?!? lol.
*Hello world, Happy LATE New Year! ... 30 days isn't too bad haha. Well I would like to let all of you know that I am very much alive, and complications with my personal life has yet again halted me blogging. But rest assured that I will begin to post more continuously once I can get things settled, which I am hoping is REAL SOON. So far the time being, I'm just going to continue to posting as much as I can and again I am sorry letting down those who actually do read my blog and thank you..

Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Bruno Mars covered Katy Perry's smash hit 'California Gurls' during a performance for BBC Radio Live Louge. He performed it acoustically with a light piano in the background and gave the song a bit rnb and gospel twist.
These peeps from Twitterville are so psyched to watch BRUNO MARS CONCERTS in Cebu and Manila... To set the record straight, here are the correct dates:
April 7 - Cebu
April 8 - Manila / Araneta Coliseum

Award-winning actress Heart Evangelista starts the year on a bright, cheery note, via “Dwarfina,” GMA-7’s first telefantasya offering this 2011. Heart plays a small, big role in the series which premieres Monday, Jan. 10, after “Jillian: Namamasko Po” on GMA Telebabad.
Via “Dwarfina,” the world is seen from the perspective of a little heroine whose deficiency in height she makes up in character, courage and immeasurable kindness. “Dwarfina” follows the magical adventures of a girl barely the size of a finger who finds her place in both the moral and supernatural realms.
Playing opposite Heart is multi-awarded actor Dennis Trillo, whose character Lyndon is Dwarfina’s beloved friend. After their successful team-up in an episode for “Dear Friend” and in the movie “Mano Po,” Heart and Dennis are all set to re-ignite their tandem and deliver fresh and remarkable performances on Philippine TV primetime.
Dennis once said that Heart was his big crush, but he said during the recent press conference for “Dwarfina,” “Yes, but hindi na ngayon,” it’s because both of them are already romantically attached to their own respective loved ones: Daniel Matsunaga for Heart and Jennylyn Mercado for Dennis.
Dennis came to the press conference looking and feeling refreshed and happy after spending a holiday in Hong Kong together with Jennylyn and their respective children. “Masaya ang holiday namin dun,” he said, but it was marred a little, he lamented, when his son got sick and they had to rush him to the hospital. “Mabuti na lang nawala din ang fever niya after two hours. Ang lamig-lamig kasi sa Hong Kong Disneyland.” He also said “magkasundo sina Carlix and Jazz,” and that they really had a great bonding time in Hong Kong.
Asked if we would be hearing wedding bells soon, Dennis said “hindi pa namin napapag-usapan yan ni Jennylyn. Malayo pa, we’re focused on our careers at the moment.” This 2011, Dennis is set to do two movies under Regal Films, one of which is a horror flick entitled “Aswang.”
In the cast of “Dwarfina’s” earthly world are Janice de Belen as Marissa, Dwarfina’s mother who was cursed by a black “duwende;” Chanda Romero, as Selya, Dwarfina’s cruel grandmother; Cris Villanueva as Kardo, Dwarfina’s affectionate father; Mark Bautista as Estong, Lyndon’s friend who works at the pier; Iwa Moto as Lucille, Dwarfina’s jealous sister; Yogo Singh as Buddy, a batang kalye adopted by Lyndon; and up-and-coming Kapuso teen stars Derrick Monasterio as Darius, and Kylie Padilla as Chloe.
Others in the cast are Jackielou Blanco as Dita Abiana, Queen of the Duwendes; Jestoni Alarcon, as Ditu Calixto, King of the Duwendes; Angelika dela Cruz as Romera, the evil dwarf; Emilio Garcia as Hulyano, the rich and ambitious husband of Romero; Pauleen Luna as Gwendina, daughter of Romera and Hulyano; and Tony Mabesa as Nuno Umberto.
Completing the cast are Will Devaughn as Elvin, Dwarfina’s best friend in the supernatural world; Vaness del Moral as Camila, Dwarfina’s loyal servant; and Mico Aytona as Duwentukin, a dwarf tasked to look after Dwarfina. Also featured in a special participation is Ms. Lani Mercado as Andrea, Lyndon’s doting mother.
Directed by Mike Tuviera, “Dwarfina” can also be seen by viewers in the US, Middle East and Asia-Pacific beginning Jan. 12 on GMA Pinoy TV.
In 2009, American alternative rock band The Lemonheads recorded an all cover-song album titled Varshons. The lead single is a Leonard Cohen original'Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye' which features the soft and raspy voice of stunning actress LIV TYLER. What makes this song striking is that it takes the original and makes it a duet. Otherwise, it doesn't try to change up the formula. It just takes two gorgeous voices, and lets them send Cohen's gorgeous lyrics back and forth to each other!...Stream!
Adele Laurie Blue Adkins known professionally as ADELE continues to amaze us with her cover of If It Hadn't Been For Love, originally by Nashville bluegrass act The Steeldrivers.
Hauntingly beautiful version. I really love it especially the chorus where she beautifully harmonize her vocal with the backing vocals...soothing yet explosive!
The British soul singer, who won 2009 Grammys for best new artist and best female pop vocal performance, is set to released her second album "21" on January 24 UK and February 22 in the US. In the new record, Adele worked with noted songwriters and producers including One Republic's Ryan Tedder, Semisonic's Dan Wilson and Fraser T. Smith.=0
